A few years ago the air in our neighbourhood filled with the sound of Seagulls. The moved in en masse and particularly like the top of the church tower opposite our house. This piece begins and ends with a recording of that same neighbourhood around lunchtime. Complete with Seagulls, who play a staring role, cars passing by and the sound of children playing in the local primary school. The music is simple and spacious and the poetry is galactic and intimate. Precious beginnings and inevitable endings. It is a wonderful reality that galaxies and atoms share the same shape and form circles that we live amongst.
