About the maker

Gavin Birchall started designing t-shirts for himself and his family around five years ago. We are or were all climbers and each of us has our own t-shirt sporting a graphical image of an animal that climbs, the word ‘Anti-grav’ in cool, scratchy text and our initials. It made us happy. So it wasn’t a great challenge to put some of the human-at-large words and art onto fabric. Now people can wear these very particular thoughts and ideas. He has studied and worked as a pharmacist, entrepreneur, company builder, designer, web developer, marketer, photographer, writer, meditation guide, personal coach and I guess now, an artist. He lives with his wife and teenage children in Preston, England.
